Description:

Synthroid T4 (Synthroid; generic name Levothyroxine Sodium) from Unipharma is used for treating low thyroid activity and treating or suppressing different types of goiters. Synthroid T4 is also used with surgery and other medicines for managing certain types of thyroid cancer.

Synthroid T4 (Synthroid; generic name Levothyroxine Sodium) from Unipharma is a thyroid hormone. Thyroid hormones are produced and released by the thyroid gland and regulate the body\'s metabolism. When the thyroid gland is underactive (hypothyroidism) it does not produce enough thyroid hormone and metabolism slows.

Side effects:

Adverse reactions, other than those indicative of hyperthyroidism because of therapeutic ovserdosage, either initially or during the maintenance period are rare.

In rare instances, allergic skin reactions have been reported with Cytomel (liothyronine sodium) Tablets.
